WHO WE ARE

Distinctive Automotive is a specialty automobile dealership in Batesville, Indiana.  We are unique and different compared to a standard car dealership.  While we do inventory a number of select automobiles, our primary specialties are Purchase Consulting and Vehicle Consignment. Our system starts by investing time listening to what our clients want.  During your purchase consultation we will match you with the proper make and model that fits your needs and wants.  Then we will go over car options and ownership strategy.  After this consultation, we purchase the desired vehicle on the wholesale market at a value you can not find elsewhere!   

OUR SYSTEM

We are serious about buying exceptional vehicles.  We know that purchasing the best not only provides a better driving experience, it also pays dividends relative to the cost of ownership and residual value.  Most of the vehicles we sell have remaining factory warranties. If the factory warranty has expired, we offer secondary warranties for your peace of mind.  When we started this business, we did so to procure a better alternative to the customary "new" car buying routine so many of our customers have fell into.  It rarely makes financial sense to purchase a new vehicle in todays market.  Our vehicles do not drop severely in value the moment you take delivery. 

PURCHASE CONSULATION

Most of our customers buy from us according to a plan that is tailored to their needs and goals. For instance, many of our customers will turn over a vehicle every 2-3 years. This allows them to enjoy variety in their automobile ownership experience. It also keeps them driving vehicles that are under factory warranty longer.  This translates to lower repair and maintenance costs and maximizes their car buying dollar by reducing depreciation.  We save our clients a lot of money over the many years that they own automobiles.

We take more of an advocate role and consultative approach to car buying. We do inventory a number of exceptional automobiles, but the majority of our sales start and end with the exact vehicle our customer wants. By spending time with our clients up front we gain a better understanding of their vision and needs. Then we work hard to fill this need….and we do it at a great value!

We also enjoy helping customers who may need to sell a vehicle but lack the time, energy, or knowledge to get top dollar.  We have very reasonable consignment rates and have the experience to get your vehicle into the marketplace and sold while you continue focusing on living your life.

Our staff and facility are small.
